Meet Dr. Micki Flynn (Hudson, WI)

Micki Flynn, O.D., FAAO, received her Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in 2003 and completed her undergraduate studies in Neuroscience at the University of Rochester in New York. She completed her residency in pediatric optometry in 2004, became a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO) in 2006, and was certified by the American Board of Optometry in 2014.

Dr. Flynn’s interest in becoming an optometrist began after working in a college research lab that was measuring visual recovery in stroke patients. During this time, she realized just how unique the visual system is. Dr. Flynn particularly enjoys meeting and getting to know her patients and their families. She has a special interest in working with children and vision therapy patients.

In her free time away from the office, Dr. Flynn loves spending time with her husband and their son. She also stays active by hiking, skiing, and practicing yoga.
